About the event

The Theme this year is "Storytellers"

Tentative Activities:

· 9:30 AM Raising of the Flag by Cub Scout Pack #136 -comes to us from Laramie , WY. 

   They serve boys & girls from kindergarten through 5th grade, developing youth through activities such as

         hiking,nature, science, first aid, citizenship, sports and more.

· 9:30 AM Reading of authentic Civil War Letters

· 10:00 AM Vintage Baseball game (with 1864 rules): Rematch of Star Base-ball Club of Colorado Territory  vs. (Jack) Slade Sluggers

· 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM - Lunch available to purchase; Drinks available to purchase with Buck ‘N Ears 4-H Club

· 11:30 AM "Origins Story” presented by Fred Rodriguez, Native American storyteller.  Followed by  Larry Yazzie-Meskwaki Nation, Wolf Clan, Native American Story Teller and Fancy Dancer 

· 1:00 PM “Dickerson Sisters” by Brian Carroll

· 2:00 PM "Jack Slade” presented by Historical speaker - Ken Jessen

· 3:00 PM Eva Sue Littleton portraying Virginia Slade

· Live entertainment by fiddler twins Maddie & Ella Zuellig Needle 'n' Thread from 10-11am and 1-2pm.

· Raffle tickets for the Quilt & Henry Rifle will be sold (Raffle: December 11, 2022)

· FREE Admission, but donations of canned food, winter hats, or gloves for Harvest Farm in Wellington would be appreciated.
