# VDCC | Stage Station
> The Virginia Dale Community Club is dedicated to preserving the historical significance of its community, particularly the Virginia Dale Stage Station, the sole remaining structure on the historic Overland Trail. Established in 1921, the club evolved from a home demonstration group to a non-profit organization focused on maintaining and educating the public about the 1862 Stage Station and the adjacent 1909 Hurzeler House. The site hosts various events, including an annual Open House & Craft Show and Christmas Party, and offers guided tours to share its rich history. Through preservation efforts and public engagement, the club ensures this vital link to the past remains a durable piece of history for future generations.
